In my opinion Sevilla have really good chances to make 3 points in today's match up.

Sevilla coming for this game with big mental advantage as they won 4 of last 5 home matches against Valencia. Last time both teams played each other in April and Sevilla won 2:0 on away.

Sevilla had very disappointing season in La Liga last year, but once again they won Europa League. That was big achievement for Jose Luis Mendilibar team. He came to the club in March and won big title. For sure now he knows team better, they have more practice and rhythm together.

Sevilla kept in squad all their key players from previous season like Acuna, Rakitic, Ocampos, Lamela or En-Nesyri. In those circumstances I believe they have all required tools to have good season. Motivation to start well front of home crowd for sure is huge.

Sevilla looked very good in last 3 friendly matches and they played against stronger teams than Valencia (Crystal Palace, Betis & Atletico Madrid).

On the other hand Valencia doesn't looked too convincing in last friendly match against Aston Villa (1:2 loss). For me is hard to imagine good season for them, especially without some key players. Valencia lost all 3 the best scorers from previous season: Dias Lino, Kluivert and Cavani. For sure that will have very bad impact on their performance.

In previous season Valencia was one of the worst away team in whole La Liga. They lost 12 of 19 matches on the road and conceded 26 goals in the process.
