Vegalta Sendai do have potential for an improvement in all areas of the game but it seems that the bookmakers give this factor considerably too much emphasis which has, once again, led to them being clearly overvalued here..  Despite their class and potential, Vegalta Sendai have been in an extremely poor form lately failing to win any of their most recent games! Moreover, they lost seven of these 10 matches! I also do not really trust their coach in terms of tactical skills or as a leader - to motivate the players and boost their understandably low confidence. Furthermore, according to my sources the team spirit is also not great at all at the moment. In their most recent game before the match against Fujieda they were completely off balance as a team and lost to Tokyo Verdy 3-4 at home. Especially their defense was extremely poorly organized and some of their defenders looked even a bit lazy at times.  Verdy created more shots on goal and scoring attempts and deserved the three points despite Vegalta Sendai being able to put some pressure on their defense when the score was 2-4 in the second half. Verdy became too passive but the hosts failed to really impress me even in the second-half.. They have conceded 18 goals in six latest five games but of course should be able to defend better.. Iwata, however, have so much offensive firepower that I expect them to score at least twice here! Vegalta Sendai,too, have a good chance of finding the net as well.
