I have discussed both teams several times this season, and in short the conclusion is that SalPa are not quite good enough for this level, which is no surprise as they are a small promoted team, and TPS are giants on this level, who have woken up, found the form when all players are available, and who have won last 6 games!

SalPa are currently 7th with 18 points from 17 games. In my books they are ranked 10th, and they must be happy if they do not get relegated.

TPS find themselves at 4th place with 31 points, but it is to be noted that their start of the season was a horrible one, they are unbeaten in 10 matches with a 8-2-0 saldo. TPS have also won last 6 games with a 20-4 goal difference!

The reason behind TPS form is that they absolute key players Hämäläinen and Riski along with the foreign players have been now in full match fitness for some time, and simply material-wise they are clearly the best team in this league and are likely to win the promotion.

Team news offers little actual news. SalPa got a new player from top league club Inter, Roope Kantola, but he did not feature there much simply because he is not good enough, and this is more to his level.
