Flamengo is always one of the favourites to win this competition and this season isn't different. In their group stage they started slow because of all their moves during that time but they still managed to end easily in 2nd place with 3 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss with 11:5 in goals. After that Flamengo has started to built trust and consistency and haven't lost a game in their last 10 games and overall playing solid football and coming of two amazing road wins over Atletico MG for the league and Gremio in the Copa Brazil besides all the drama in the team around Pedro and one assistent Coach who hit the player a couple days ago but even with all that drama Flamengo has just a elite team for this standards.

For this game Flamengo is without Pulgar and Pedro who got suspended by the team.

Olimpia is here after an amazing group stage where they finished in 1st place with 4 wins and 2 draws with 13:4 in goals but overall their group was an easy one but still At.Nacional isn't that bad of a team but them passing the group was expected, however, since then many things changed, with the New Coach things aren't going well and in their last 5 games they lost 3 of them in their own league and had one draw and for the Copa Paraguay they also got eliminated, so, since their group stage they have been in a really poor shape and form and I don't see things getting easier here for them.

For this game Olimpia is without Zaraté and Goalkeeper Gaston.

Flamengo is the clear favourite here, even with that little bit of drama around the team because of that Pedro and assistent coach problem but overall even without Pedro, Flamengo attack is loaded with Gabigol, Gerson, Bruno Henrique, Everton Ribeiro and Arrascaeta who will give Olimpia team nightmares like the last time they faced each other in 2021, in the quarter-finals in the Copa Libertadores where Flamengo won the 1st leg on the road by 4:1 and than at home by 5:1 and today at home and playing the 1st leg I expect Flamengo to win it big to go to Paraguay without any extra-pressure, I expect Flamengo at least to win here by 2 goals difference but I think they can even win by more if they are effective in front of the goal.
