Maccabi Haifa vs Sheriff Tiraspol

Maccabi Haifa journey so far was in the last round beating Hamrun on the road by 4:0 and 2:1 at home. In the 1st leg in this elimination round they lost 0:1 to Sheriff Tiraspol and even I consider that Maccabi Haifa was the better team and deserved a better result they are also very lucky not to be 0:2 down because in the last minute they almost scored an own goal what could have cost a very bad result but overall they were the better team, creating more chances and dominating the game they just missed some nice chances and also Sheriff Tiraspol goalkeeper made a huge safe and when it wasn't the keeper it would be the goal post.

Sheriff Tiraspol last round they lost to Farul Constanta on the road by 0:1 and at home they managed to win by 1:0 and than 3:0 in extra-time. Now the competition got harder and even they won 1:0 against Maccabi Haifa in the 1st leg we saw clear signs that Maccabi Haifa are better than them and that chance for the 2:0 in the end of the game could make Tiraspol dream about moving to the next round but with only 1 goal advantage flying to Israel and playing in that tough atmosphere will be very hard for them in my opinion and for me this Tiraspol team ain't the same from a couple years ago.

For Maccabi Haifa only the win matters and to be fair I believe they will win it and also advance to the next round because they are a very solid team, the same team who last season was in the Champions League playing good against elite teams, only the loss against Benfica at home was a really tough one but overall they looked decent and in the qualifications they were rolling and I believe they will do it here once again, at home with their amazing support of their fans and with players like Chery, Haziza and Pierrot I expect Maccabi Haifa to win this game and advance to the next round.
