For this encounter, I am expecting a win or a draw for the away team for the following reasons:

Firstly. Goteborg are easily one of the worst teams in the entire campaign. They have a single win to their name this whole season, and they have just two wins in total since November of 2022. Only one other squad scored fewer goals than them in the Allsvenskan. They have scored a measly 13 goals throughout the season to underline how blunt their attack is. I do not see them mounting much pressure on Halmstads in this game. They are now winless in their last nine league games, recording four losses along the way. They have also lost their last two home games.

Secondly. Halmstads are one of the most consistent teams in the Swedish top flight. They are one of the few teams in the competition to have remained unbeaten in the last five game weeks, and importantly, they are on a four-game winning streak on the road as well. They will head into this one full of belief that they can secure another triumph away from home. They, however, do not have promising goal record in the league.

Goteborg have dominated this fixture between these two teams to a large degree in the past, but they head into this weekend's clash on a very bad form. Halmstads are expected to win this game, but their underwhelming record in front of goal may get them struggling. They have only scored four goals more than Goteborg. It is on this note that I think that they can either get a win or a draw from the game.
