Firstly. Tromso are magnificent this season. Most pundits envisioned them to be in the lower part of the table, but after 13 rounds, Tromso are the closest to the league leaders, Bodo/Glimt. Tromso have been recording impressive displays consistently of late. They are on a six-match unbeaten streak, and they won five of those. Tromso follows an exceptional form on the road since the beginning of this season. They lost only one game on the road, and that was against the current league leaders; it was a thrilling match which ended by 3-2 scoreline. They have however won seven and drawn two of their ten away league games so far.

Secondly. Rosenborg are looking nervously over their shoulders at the prospect of relegation at present. They have not competed in the second tier since 1978, when they bounced back at the first attempt, belatedly going on to win 13 successive titles between 1992 and 2004. They are on a four-game winless run currently, losing three of them. The current home form of Rosenborg does not seem that impressive as well. They lost the past two league fixtures at home in a row too. They have now suffered seven defeats across their first 14 games of the campaign, winning once across their last six. Their form does not ooze of a team confident of getting a win against a high-flying team like Tromso.

Tromso are threatening underdogs. They have won their last five away league games, so they should be confident of seeing off a Rosenborg side who are in a tough position. However, I am not going to take away the quality a team like Rosenborg can be capable of considering the danger of relegation they are facing at the moment. So, I will thread on a safer side and expect a win or a draw for Tromso.
