Currently, they are in the last place in the group with just one point from two games, and not even a win is enough to get them to Quarter-Finals. A win for Portugal and Georgia avoiding defeat against the Netherlands will see them progress into the knockout stage. Since Portugal U21 desperately need all three points here, they could open too much, and we saw how vulnerable they are against the counterattacks, against Georgia U21.

Secondly. Belgium U21 secured an appearance in this EURO U21 by finishing 1st in a very tough group with Denmark U21, Turkey U21, Scotland U21, and Kazakhstan U21; unlike their opponents who had an easier qualification campaign. They were truly dominant, with 20 points from eight matches and only two allowed goals. Belgium were not great in the first two games either, but still, I think they showed a bit more than Portugal. They had Georgia U21 on the ropes in the last match after the first half but couldn't hold the lead. The Young Devils are second in the group with two points from as many games. They will guarantee knockout football with a win, while a draw could also be enough.

Portugal are on a run of back-to-back winless outings after winning eight of their previous nine. They have struggled to be creative in the middle pack in this competition and will need to fix that. Belgium are however unbeaten in six games across competitions. Unlike Portugal, they have created a lot of chances. And, with better finishing they should be able to come out on top in this fixture. So, I'll be putting my money on a win or a draw for the Belgium side.
