Scotland, who have a very weak squad, were very lucky in this Qualifiers so far. They have three victories in a row, are now the leaders of the group and managed to beat Spain, Norway and Cyprus so far.

Cyprus is normal, because is one of the worst teams in the tournament. On the other hand, Georgia is a team who is improving a lot recently: only one defeat in their last 15 international fixtures, which was a friendly against Morocco (who showed in the World Cup how strong they are). Between these games are strong teams such as Sweden and Norway. Georgia played a great game against Norway in the Qualifiers, where they drew 1:1 in a result we could consider fair. They also beat Cyprus 1:2.

Georgia has a decent squad, with Kvaratskhelia leading them and managing their longest unbeaten streak in their history (10 official games).

If we compare the squad name by name, they are pretty similar. These odds are offered just due to the over-performances of Scotland against Norway and Spain, but they shouldn’t be such favorites here. The kind of match that will be played here is better for Georgia, as Scotland isn’t a team accustomed to dominate or have the ball, so they will surely struggle.

Georgia has a very pacy and suitable players to play fixtures as visitors with counter attacks.
