Liverpool vs Aston Villa

Liverpool had a season to forget and the main reason was because the new players needed some time but also their injuries problems during the whole season has really hurt them but since key players of the team came back Liverpool made a nice run of a 7 game winning streak and playing really good football and because of those 7 wins in a row the team is still fighting for the Top 4 places. The current situation is they are 4 points behind Newcastle and 1 point behind Manchester United but United has played less one game so Liverpool really needs to continue to win all their games to put pressure on those teams and so far that is what they have been doing, winning all their games. Even their season was poor for their standards at home they still were rock solid, they are the 2nd best home team even with all those problems but those issues where only felt on the road games at home they have been solid and they have won their last 4 home games against teams like Nottingham, Tottenham, Fulham and Brentford and now it's time for Aston Villa. For this game Liverpool is without Bajcetic, Alcantara, Keita, Ramsay and Darwin.

Aston Villa has been having a solid season and the main reason for that has been the arrival of Coach Unai Emery who has made this team playing really amazing football, however, lately Aston Villa performances have been falling down in quality what is kinda normal because they don't have the team to play like they where playing one month ago but even they have been struggling lately they are still in a rock solid 8th place and fighting for the European Spot but I'm not sure if they really wanna play there next season. Aston Villa at home has been solid even in their down trend but on the road the issues are different, they haven't won any game in their last 3 road trips, got a draw against Brentford 1:1 and than two losses in a row by 0:1 against Manchester United and Wolves and now they will face a Liverpool team who is playing their best football of the season.

For this game Aston Villa is without Coutinho and Steer. Chambers is doubtful.

I like Liverpool here to win their 8 game in a row in the Premier League and fight till the end for that very important 4th place and I think that right now Liverpool is just playing really good football, defending really well but also their attack has been creating a lot of scoring chances and Aston Villa on the other side has lately started to play worst and especially struggling on the road and I believe they will struggle here once again. I expect Liverpool to win this game here by 2:0 or 2:1 and get here another win and put pressure on Manchester United and Newcastle.
