Liverpool's dream of reaching qualifying for a UEFA Champions League spot received a huge boost as Manchester United lost to Brighton to reduce the gap between them and the teams outside of the top four. The Reds need to win their remaining games and put pressure on Man United. Liverpool is back at Anfield and Iam very confident that they can grab another win on home soil against Brentford. You should bet on Jurgen Klopp's team to get all three points on Saturday for the following reasons;

[1] Brentford has seen their performances drop in the second half of the season and they are not as great as they were from the start. Brentford is still in line for a respectable finish in the top half of the Premier League but they are nowhere near as good as Liverpool in the second half of the season. The Bees have won just three of their last ten games in all competitions and both wins were against a struggling Chelsea team and a relegation threatened Nottingham Forest team. Liverpool has won their last five matches in the English Premier League and a huge number of those games were high scoring games. They are in great form and I think they can beat Brentford in this game.

[2] Liverpool is back at Anfield and they are a different team entirely at home. They have lost only once at Anfield in the 2022/23 league season bagging 12 wins in 17 games. Liverpool has beaten Tottenham Hotspur and Fulham at home in the space of just one week and I see them getting all three points again. Mohammed Salah ended his poor run from the spot against Fulham and the whole Liverpool team is playing their best football of the season. Brentford lost against two of the top four teams last month and they have been suspect against the big teams. Trent Alexander Arnold's new position has been favourable to both him and the team. Liverpool is playing at home and has a full team, therefore I am tipping this tie to end in a win for Liverpool.
