Vfl Bochum vs Borussia Dortmund

Bochum is fighting for surviving and are sitting in 15th place with only a 2 point advantage over Stuttgart but overall seen Bochum still over the relegation zone is kinda surprising because for me they have the 2nd worst squad in the league but things lately have been tough for them, especially at home where they usual were winning all their points early in the season but in their last 6 home games they lost 5 of them and the only win they got was a important 1:0 win over Leipzig but it was a lucky win but in the rest of the games they lost badly and suffered at least 2 goals against, that includes a 1:2 loss in the DFB-Pokal against Dortmund. In their last two home games they lost 2:3 against Stuttgart, that game was very important because of the direct competition and in their last home game they lost 1:5 against Wolfsburg, however, in this game the result was hard on them because Bochum could have easily scored 3 or 4 goals too. One thing that Bochum has is nice attacking players and they are able to score but the big issue is their defensive line, too many mistakes and really poor making them the worst defense in the whole Bundesliga and they will face a red hot Dortmund attack, so trouble ahead for them here.

Dortmund finally got the lead in the league after beating Frankfurt by 4:0 at home and playing at a very high level. There lead is only 1 point over Bayern Munchen but now they only depend on themselves to win finally the league but for that they need to perform better on the road. At home Dortmund has been dominant but on the road they have been a disaster for their standards, 7 wins, 2 draws and 6 losses with 24:26 in goals is really weak, however, they recovered key players for this late stretch of the Bundesliga and I believe they will get better on the road. In their last 3 road games they got a 2:2 draw against Schalke after been up 2:1, than they lost 2:4 against their rival Bayern and in their last road game they really messed up, they were playing super well and leading by 2:0, than Stuttgart got a red card and Dortmund just relaxed, suffered the 2:2, was able to still score late a 3:2 but in the last second they suffered the 3:3 and because of that game I believe that Dortmund if things go well early in this game they will not relax like that again, learing from them mistakes and they also have a lead to defend here.

For this game Dortmund is without Duranville, Meunier and Morey. Schlotterbeck is doubtful.

Dortmund has a really amazing chance to win finally the league this season, their schedule is a good one till the end and they are only depending on themselves and today's match-up is a good one. In the Cup they beat Bochum by 2:1 a couple weeks ago and in that game they were missing key players and right now they have their full strenght ready to play, recovered key players and showed really good performance against Frankfurt, complete domination and with their attack creating tons of chances and facing today the worst defensive line in the league I expect Dortmund attack to have another good game. Bochum suffered 8 goals in their last 2 home games against weaker attacks and it's very likely that Dortmund will score here multiple times too and I don't see Bochum been able to match-up with that and that's why I think that Dortmund will beat Bochum here by 2:1 or 3:1.
