Serbia welcomes Portugal in the 2nd game of the group of WC qualification for Qatar 2022. 

At first look yesterday, I wanted to go with Portugal win because I saw some interesting facts that happened last days. First of all, the Portuguese squad traveled at the earliest deadline to get accommodated in Belgrade as soon as possible and even are doing some serious training practices which are unpopular when national sides get together before the game. It's like that because National Teams don't have much time together to work on tactics and technical details but Portugal's head coach is insisting on this and they are proving on each new day that Portugal NT is not accidentally the winner of the last Euro. And yes, I rate Portugal very highly and I respect what are they doing in years - such a small nation in terms of territory but are doing wonders with developing the players and making such results in the world of football. They have one of the best players ever in the 21st century, Cristiano Ronaldo after all. 

However, things changed in the Serbian national team recently. New selector/head coach Dragan Stojkovic started with a win in his first game, three days ago against Ireland. It was a 3-2 win for Serbia after Ireland scored first. The Serbian team showed good character and willingness to win at the start of the WCQ campaign. We have to know that those 2 teams will battle for the top 2 positions in the group. The first-place group gives a direct qualification to World Cup Qatar, while second place guarantees additional mini qualifications for WC. I think Portugal will be the first team in the group, logically and Serbia to end behind. And odds are set like that in this particular match, Portugal is my favorite, hosts are underdogs. But still, I think this will be a very very equal game on the field, where we might see the draw, 1-1 or something like that. My national team is very motivated with the arrival of Dragan Stojkovic Piksi on the bench and he is the most glorified footballer in our history, the biggest magician ever, so the players have huge respect and duty to give more than "just" 100%. I mean with this that Serbia players will be above 100% of their possibilities tonight and will be very tough to beat in the capital city of Serbia, Belgrade. 

I feel this will end draw 1-1 but even if a 1-2 loss happens, we will still win something if you are able to bet +1.25 handicap.
