Odds keep getting better for Spain’s win and it is hard for me to understand why the market would give Greece any chances in Spain.

La Furia Roja has been an amazingly fun and offensive side under current manager Luis Enrique, especially on home soil. Over the past years they recorded wins like the 6-0 against Germany, 5-0 against Romania, 4-0 against Ukraine, 3-0 against Sweden and 6-0 against Croatia. These are the main highlights since 2018 under Luis Enrique. Evidently, unlike most national teams, this edition of Spain squad does not like to stop after scoring 1 or 2 goals and loves to humiliate opponents, running them over into the ground.

There are not many serious players missing for Spain either, which could have triggered the move on the market against them - only big name is centre-back Sergio Ramos. But it feels his absence is not going to play that big of a role against the likes of modest Greece.

Visitors are still managed by the Dutch noname specialist John van’t Schip, whose previous jobs were with Zwolle and Melbourne Hearts in Australia. Working with Greece is definitely the paramount of his lacklustre career.

This Greek generation of footballers is very average and the current squad to face Spain is no different.

Their results from the last 2 years give no optimism either - the team finished 2nd in their League of Nations groups C, 2 points behind Slovenia.

I am positive that Spain will kick-off their WC qualifying campaign with another home win. And, as you can see, they usually deliver big margin results, so covering a -1.5 handicap should be an achievable task for La Furia Roja tonight.
