Celta Vigo travel to Estadio Ramon to take on Sevilla for a round of La Liga matches on Friday night. Sevilla won their last match 2-0 to record only their second win in their last six La Liga games. Sevilla currently occupy the 13th position in the league standings on 31 points, and they have not really been at their best in the league this season. Nothing much really separates them from Celta Vigo as Celta occupy the 10th position with 35 points. Celta Vigo played out a 2-2 draw against Almeria last weekend. They will attempt to take it up a notch as they travel to Sevilla. And, I will be putting my money on Celta Vigo to come away with a win or a draw for the following reasons:

Firstly. Celta Vigo have really been so inconsistent in their performance this season. But this has been changing recently. Their form has really improved, and they have remained unbeaten in their last six La Liga games. They have managed to win three of them, and drew the rest. This is while showing a clear improvement in their play compared to earlier in the season. The old and newer players have gelled properly, and it is now translating to results.They have shown a penchant to rather get a draw than lose a match. Sevilla on the other hand have lost three La Liga matches during this same period.

Secondly. I cannot trust the leaky defence of Sevilla to not put in a shaky performance. Sevilla's defence have been so inconsistent this season that they have already let in 42 goals in 27 matches. Sevilla have struggled at both ends of the pitch, having just scored only a measly 31 goals so far. They might have won their last match and will be hoping to build on that against Celta Vigo, but Sevilla are just too inconsistent that I do not see them getting a result that is more than a draw against an in form Celta Vigo. They have also been largely disappointing while playing at their home this season.

Celta Vigo have been a tough opponent to face for any team in recent months, that I do not see them losing this game. I expect them to either get a win or a draw against Sevilla
