They are a decent and diligent side with some interesting individuals, but overall weaker than they were at the 2019 Euros and under a different manager, which is also an important aspect. Back then the Danish U21 were under the patronage of Niels Frederiksen, who is currently working with Brondby and is fighting for the title in Superligaen this season.

At 2021 Euros is managed by a noname Albert Capellas Herms, a 53 year old specialist with no highlights to his career.
