Firstly. The PSG team know that nothing short of win in this encounter will be accepted by all the stakeholders. PSG have a stronger squad compared to Lyon, and have had decent form before that forgettable loss against Rennes. PSG have had their defence line bedeviled by injuries lately; hence why they had been conceding unlikely goals in their past recent games. Fortunately, PSG have got most of their injured defenders returning and available for selection. They have got Marquinhos and Hakimi both returning from injury and available for selection. With the defence reinforced, I expect the PSG's talented frontline to live up to expectation and get the win for PSG.

Secondly. Considering Lyon's present form, I do not see them mounting enough pressure to get a result against PSG. They are currently placed on 10th position in the Ligue 1 table, 25 points behind PSG. They have not been performing well in the league this season. They have won only one of their last five games in Ligue 1. Lyon do have a Coupe de France semifinal match against Nantes coming up in the mid week. With winning the French Cup their only likelihood of qualifying for the European competitions, Lyon are unlikely to make this match against PSG a priority. This tips the scale further towards PSG.

PSG have got their eyes only on the Ligue 1 trophy. With the distraction of participating in other competitions out of the way, I expect PSG to put on a show in their remaining Ligue 1 games, starting with Lyon tonight. A PSG victory is expected in this encounter.
