Ireland VS France

Ireland welcome France for this EURO 2024 qualification Group B second round battle at Aviva Stadium in Dublin, the capital of Ireland, early Tuesday morning Beijing time. For Ireland this is the first game though. The other teams in this group are Greece, Gibraltar and the Netherlands. I see France as clearly the best team in the group by pure class! They have a gigantic edge over Ireland in all areas of the game. Their FIFA ranking is 3rd but this is unarguably too low – I have them in first place in my world power rating that reflects the teams' pure class with the best possible lineup. Ireland, on the other hand, are in the 48th place which is simply too high.. I have them in the 59th place in the power rating. The odds of around 1.40 offered for them by the biggest bookies with the largest stake limits to win are definitely too high and we must take advantage of this mistake! The chance of France traveling home with all three points is 76%. However, the recommended bet is France -1.5 goals which means that the visitors have to win by at least the goals' margin for my fans and me to make a profit. The probability for this is 52%. France crushed a strong team, the Netherlands, 4-0 in the opening round. What an amazing offensive performance it was! The Dutch did make some silly mistakes in this game though. 

Against the Netherlands Kylian Mbappe, the best striker – perhaps even football players in the world – scored twice and is the new captain of the team. France performed very well in the World Cup in Qatar and could easily have won the final against Argentina. They had an excellent scoring chance in the dying moments of the extra time.. Argentina, led by Leo Messi, dominated the first half but France improved their level of football significantly in the second half and scored twice. Eventually Argentina won the match through penalties. On their way to the final France beat Poland - very easily – against England it was a much more balanced game but France proved their class! In the semi-final France did not give Morocco a true chance to win. 2-0 was the final score. Ireland did not make it to the World Cup and most probably will not make it to the EURO 2024 either. They fight hard, yes, and the fans offer a big boost but they lack quality in all areas of the game.. They have not beaten a top-10 country for ages. I did not like their most recent performance against Latvia at home in a friendly match. Yes, they had 68% ball possession and did deserve the three points but allowing a weak country like Latvia score twice is not promising ahead of this game. Ireland recorded five shots on goal – the visitors' number was three. Ireland were priced below 1.20 to win in this game.. Before this they narrowly beat Malta 1-0 away from home but did not impress me.
