Hungary vs Bulgaria

Hungary is one of the favourites to win this group or at least to manage to stay in the Top 2 and make the Euro 2024, however, it's not an easy group with teams like Serbia, Montenegro and Bulgaria in the mix, Lithuania is clearly the weak link in this group. Hungary is playing their 1st game of the group after not playing like the other teams, but they played a Friendly game against Estonia and won by 1:0. Overall, that result is kinda poor, they missed a penalty kick also but to be fair I don't think they were giving it all in that game what is normal, today tough is the real test against Bulgaria. Hungary is a strong team in my opinion, very solid on defense but also with a nice mid-field and a decent attack and they showed their quality in the Nations League A where they almost won the group, only 1 point behind Italy but in front of teams like England and Germany what kinda shows how good they played in the Nations League beating really strong teams.

Bulgaria on the other side have already played their 1st game in this group stage at home and lost 0:1 against Montenegro, really tough loss because overall I don't think they were the worst team on the field, I think a draw would have been the more honest result but now Bulgaria is under pressure because in my opinion now they will be on the road facing the best team in the group and it will not be easy to get something positive here in my opinion since Bulgaria is a lower quality team, they made 2nd place in the Nations League C but was playing against team like Georgia, North Macedonia and Gibraltar and on the road they struggled against those teams so I think they will have a really hard time here facing this Hungary team on the road too.

Sometimes Hungary is their worst enemy, they play well but sometimes they play too relaxed and don't force the issue in the attack what in my opinion would benefit them but I believe that today they are the clear favourite here to win this game, Bulgaria will have a hard time to break Hungary strong defensive line and Hungary has enough quality in the attack to hurt Bulgaria especially with long shots who they have some really good players and that combined that Hungary should be also more fresher here I see Hungary winning here their 1st game in their group stage.
