Vegalta Sendai stayed in the league only because the J1 league was expanding from 18 to 20 clubs this season. This team is in big financial problems and the future of the club is very unstable. Sendai started a new season very bad, they drew in the first game of the season against Hiroshima 1-1 and after that, they suffered some heavy defeats. They lost at home against Kawasaki 5-1 than away game in Tosu 5-0 after that another defeat against Shonan 3-1. Sendai's defence is allowing too many goals and that could be a big problem against Tokyo. The home team is one of the best clubs in Japan, they are very strong at their stadium and they played AFC Champions league last season. Tokyo had a decent start of the season with 2 wins 2 draws and 1 defeat and in the last round, they won 3-2 at home and showed some good football. Tokyo is winning or losing at home and I don't think Sendai will win in Tokyo because of their poor attacking display in recent games, they scored only 3 goals and conceded 14 in the last 5 games. This won't be an easy game for Tokyo but I think they will find a way to outscore their rivals.
