Atalanta vs Lecce

Atalanta is fighting for the very important Top 4 spot this season since Napoli is pratically Champion already but ending in the Top 4 would be amazing for Atalanta and bring them back to the Champions League. Right now Atalanta is in 4th place with the same points than Roma after in the last game they having their revenge against Lazio on the road where they won by 2:0 and now they are back at home again. This season Atalanta has been more effective on the road than at home in terms of results but that has been because of the opponents they already faced at home, they have 5 wins, 2 draws and 3 losses at home with 21-13 in goals but the team lost three home games in a row against teams like Lazio, Napoli and Inter but after those 3 home losses in a row their opponents got easier and they had no problems to beat Salernitana by 8:2 and Sampdoria by 2:0 and now it's Lecce time.

For this game Atalanta is without Hateboer, Muratore and Pasalic.

Lecce main goal is to maintain their team in the Serie A and so far so good, they are in 13th place with a nice 7 point advantage of the relegation zone. The team is coming of a very good result at home by 1:1 against a strong Roma team but they were a bit lucky to draw that game, Roma scored an own goal and besides that Lecce pratically wasn't able to create nothing during the whole game and Roma has some big misses in front of the goal but that was another great point won for Lecce. Now they will be on the road facing a really strong Atalanta team who has finally found their groove in the attack so I see Lecce defensive line having here a hard time to deal with Atalanta's attack, especially with Lookman who is in great shape.

For this game Lecce is without Pongracic. Dermaku and Maleh are doubtful.

Right now I think Atalanta is playing their best football of the season, they are having some up and downs performances earlier in the season but now we are seeing them playing more regular and good football and even their home record this season isn't the best they just had those 3 losses in a row at home against the elite teams from Italy but when facing lower competition they have been rock solid at home and usually win their games. Atalanta attack is finally clicking and they are once again looking like a scoring machine so it's very likely to see them once again scoring here at least 2 goals and on Lecce side I don't see them been able to compete with that, maybe they are able to score one goal but besides that it would be a big surprise and overall I think Atalanta will win here the very important 3 points and beat Lecce by 2:1 or 3:1.
