After a bad start to the season Sporting has finally found their groove back and are looking strong once again but because of that bad start they can't lose more points because they are sitting in 4th place, 5 points behind Braga and 7 points behind Porto and for Sporting making the Champions League is key for their next season and a win here would put them closer to the 2nd place what would gave them direct access. At home Sporting has been always solid and this season isn't different, 8 wins in 9 games with a nice 26:5 in goals and their last home win was in another very important game, against Braga they needed to win to cut point to Braga and they beat them easily by 5:0 even without some key players and for this game they got the good news that Paulinho can play this game and that's huge because Sporting attack with him becomes way more dangerous and harder to defend.
