In this game, I'm predicting that the Celtics will cover the handicap.

In the previous games, they have covered the spread just 2 times.

This will be Boston's 4th and last game on the road trip. It started with a loss in Denver and Oklahoma City. The loss to the Thunder was very bad because the home team was without Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Boston allowed opponents to score 150 points. The next game was against the Mavericks and they showed character as they crushed Dallas who had a 7-game winning series. On the road, the Celtics have the 6th-best offense (113.3), the 4th-best defense (111.1) and the 2nd-best net rating (2.2).

I'm very confident about Boston's comfortable win because the Spurs are going to miss a lot of players. Devin Vassell will have surgery and he could be back in February. Last night, Keldon Johnson injured his hamstring and will be out as well. The team announced today that Jakob Poeltl won't play today as well. Johnson and Vassell are the 2 best scorers for the team while Poeltl is the 4th. It means that the Spurs will be playing without 3 out of 4 best scorers.

It's hard to see any chance for the Spurs to survive in this game. The Celtics are as healthy as they can be and they have a different attitude because of the Thunder game. They won't let the Spurs breathe and San Antonio is struggling on defense very badly. It could get ugly very early. With 1 day off, the Celtics have covered the spread in 15 out of 24 games.
