The club made some moves during the winter transfer window, sending second goalkeeper Peter Vindahl Jensen on loan to FC Nürnberg and bringing in Djordje Mihailovic from CF Montréal. However, they were unable to complete a deal for Tomáš Vaclík, who reportedly failed a medical examination. Vitesse, on the other hand, has struggled throughout the season, consistently hovering near the relegation zone. The Arnhem club has a young, talented squad, but lacks stability and experience in defense. Vitesse has struggled to keep the ball out of their own net, conceding the third most goals in the Eredivisie heading into this match. Key players to watch in this match include Karlsson, who has recorded an assist in three of his last four appearances for AZ, and Matúš Bero, who has been involved in a Vitesse goal in each of his last two starts. I blieve AZ have quality to win this one with ease, especialy after I watched Vitesse in preparation during December. They were really poor. AZ is serious side. 2-0 or 2-1 are possible outcomes in my mind.
