Gattuso is getting most of his star squad players back and before the game against Bologna their casualty list looks untypically short. In defense, hosts can finally rely on Koulibaly. The African should spur struggling Rrahmani to improve his act.

Ghoulam’s availability at the left wing of defense is also coming in handy, since Mario Rui’s been in poor form and offering little going forward. Ghoulam’s strong runs and curved crosses are a weapon Gattuso has been missing most of the season.

Attack is already looking better now that Dries Mertens is back to full fitness. The Belgian fantasista led the team to 3 goals away to Sassuolo, but remarkably that proved not enough for 3 points as De Zerbi’s men pulled off a stunning late drama equalizer. Like Koulibaly in defense, Mertens is able to directly influence the level of football Insigne and Lozano are showcasing in attack.

Having Osimhen healthy after endless issues is also a strong option for Gattuso, though the record summer signing has yet to impress in Italy.

Napoli is still in contention for a top 4 finish in Serie A and they are aware wins must start coming now or never.

I had a tip against Bologna in the previous round, expecting Cagliari to beat them in Sicily. Eventually the call proved correct and I am eager to add another bet against Mihailovic’s team. They still have defensive issues to deal with - Tomiyasu remains injured, while the centre of midfield is hurt by the absence of Dominguez and Schouten (both regulars).
