Defensively they are weak, but they have quality and talent upfront. Also they work very well as a team because they have been playing a lot of time and games together. Some players like Akram Afif or Almoez Ali are the most talented ones.

On the other hand, I rate Ecuador very poorly in this tournament. Made a good qualification stage leaving behind some teams like Colombia, Chile or Peru. But we must remember that they also had the high-altitude advantage in the Qualification stage (21 of the 26 points they achieved were at home).
