Chelsea vs Arsenal

In the Premier League Chelsea is sitting at 7th place but only 3 points from the TOP 4 what is the main goal for the season since fighting for the league title is pratically impossible right now. Even Chelsea has been winning games in the Champions League in the Premier League they are without a win in their last 3 games, a draw on the road against Brentford by 0:0, a draw at home against Manchester United by 1:1 and a big road loss against Brighton by 1:4 and now they will receive the hottest team in the Premier League at home. Chelsea hasn't lost at home this season with 3 wins and 2 draws in their 5 home games but when facing good competition the games ended both in draws, 1:1 against Manchester United and 2:2 against Tottenham and today they will receive another good team, also a team who hasn't lost in this stadium the last 3 times they game here. For this game Chelsea is without Kante, Arrizabalaga, Chilwell, Chukwuemeka, Fofana and James. Zakaria and Kovacic are also doubtful for the game.

With the Manchester City last minute win yesterday, Arsenal is once again in 2nd place with 1 point behind them and today they can conquer the lead again if they win here against Chelsea and overall I think that Arsenal is in much better shape than Chelsea this season but also right now and even this game is on the road Arsenal had positive outcomes their last 3 times here with 2 wins and 1 draw and overall Arsenal has been the best road team in the Premier League too, overall Arsenal is playing really at a high level this season even we can say they have struggled a bit in their last two road games, they beat Leeds by 1:0 and got a 1:1 draw against Southampton but still, I believe that Chelsea is a nice match-up for the system that Arsenal plays and that's why they usually have been successful against them in the past. For this game Arsenal is without Rowe, Tomiyasu and Turner.

I like Arsenal chances today to get even the 3 points, it's not easy to play on the road of course but match-up wise Chelsea is a good fit for this Arsenal team and also I believe that Arsenal is in much better shape than Chelsea right now and also more healthier, Chelsea have been struggling with injuries and that's showing in their performances were they have been looking really bad lately, even at home against Manchester United, even they suffered the 1:1 very late in the game they got outplayed by Manchester United in the 1st half where it could been easily 2 or 3:0 for United. I don't see Arsenal losing here, maybe a draw is on the books, I think this game will end in a 1:1 or 2:1 win for Arsenal.

Maritimo vs Famalicao

Maritimo season has been a disaster with only 1 win in 11 games and sitting at 17th place but to be fair, they are a much better team than the table suggest and for me they will survive in the league. After a disaster of a start to the season Maritimo made a coaching change and the experience Coach Joao Henriques took control of the game and even he started with some losses it was because of the quality of their opponents but since their opponents got easier the results are coming. In their last 3 games they got a road draw against Boavista by 1:1 in a game where they missed a penalty kick for the 2:1, than they had a home draw against Arouca by 1:1 and finally on the road last weekend they managed to win their first game of the season against Paços de Ferreira on the road, this win is huge because it should relax the team even more now and I believe they have the squad to make a nice run here and conquer very important points. For this game Maritimo is without Sousa, Mosquera, Teixeira and Fabio China.

Famalicao is also struggling this season but they are sitting in 14th place, even they are in better shape than Maritimo on the table for me Famalicao has a worse team than Maritimo and pratically are only competitive in their home games because on the road they are the worst team in the league with 1 draw and 5 losses in 6 games and the last two games on the road they struggled really big time, they lost 1:4 against Arouca and 2:3 against Guimaraes, even this result sugest it was a close encounter it really wasn't, Guimaraes was up 3:0 and just relaxed in the game. Overall Famalicao is having big problems with their defensive line on the road, suffering a lot of goals and even Maritimo in terms of results have been struggling this season they do have an decent attack in my opinion. For this game Famalicao is without Aguirregabiria and De La Fuente is suspended for the game.

Maritimo hasn't won a home game so far this season, 1 draw and 4 losses but like I said, since Coach Joao Henriques took control of the team they have been playing really well and been competitive in each game and finally last weekend they won their first game of the season and this is the perfect spot to win their 2nd game in my opinion and their first home game since Famalicao has been struggling big time on the road this season and haven't won any of their games on the road, 1 draw and 5 losses so in my opinion Maritimo has great chances to get their first home win here what I believe it can happen but overall I don't see Maritimo losing here and I don't see them has the underdog here like the odds sugest, for me Maritimo are the slide favourites here, at least I expect them to get points here, I can see this game end in a 1:1 or 2:1 win for Maritimo.
