Mirandes is a weak side, always in the middle of the table. No high ambitions or promotion targets, but also never suffering for relegation. A solid side with experience in this category, very strong at home because it’s a small stadium with difficult conditions to play in winter (wind, snow, rain…). But today will be in perfect conditions.

For this match they will miss two key players: Javi Jimenez (injured) and Ivan Martin (suspended), both starters.

On the other side, Malaga suffered a lot this season due to their short squad (suffered some injuries + covid) and the internal problems in the club. In recent weeks everything looks fine again.

Their recent performances have been great, especially the last couple of games against two strong sides like Sporting Gijon (5th) and Rayo Vallecano (6th), winning the second one. Confidence and motivation is the team is high and they want to continue winning points to leave the relegation back.

Malaga is a team who plays much better as visitors, where they achieved 20 of the 34 points so far. In fact, only lost in strong stadiums like Almeria (3rd), Sporting Gijon (5th), Mallorca (2nd), Rayo Vallecano (6th) and Tenerife in the first round of the league when they had only few players available.

Malaga has a very short squad and this has been their problem during the season. But for today everybody is available and they should make another good performance as they did in the last weeks against strong sides.

I see this match totally equal, where both teams are at the same level. Draw is very possible here, the same result we saw in the last 3 meetings between boths sides.
