Shots per game have been significantly reduced compared to last season, but goal stats haven't changed that drastically. In short: Atalanta is still good for goals, but the team no longer takes as many risks in their own game. This is supported by the fact that they have not lost a single league so far. The players who play for Atalanta have been together for years (Pasalic, Zapata, Muriel, de Roon, Koopmeiners) and are very well integrated. Today, they will have to play a very good match because the very unpleasant Sassuolo will be visiting them.

What can be said about Atalanta can also be said about Sassuolo. The guests have also done a very good job in recent years, and this team has also had very offensive phases in the past. It doesn't look as wild as it did under ex-coach de Zerbi, but Sassuolo is also a team that can at least be taken seriously under Alessio Dionisi. Although only two of the last seven games were won, at the same time only two were lost. Sassuolo are not easy to beat and started the day as ninth-placed team in Serie A. The goal difference is currently 11:10, which only shows that the team plays very responsibly and without too many risks. In the last round, they lost to Inter at home with 2-1, but during most of the match they tormented the famous opponent. However, in my opinion, Atalanta is a much better team, with better individuals and they are playing great this season and I believe that they can win this match. What is perhaps interesting is that Atalanta beat Sassuolo in the last seven matches at home with over 2.5 goals.
