Sevilla is in perfect form. The match against Borussia has been their only “accident” lately. They have won 9 of the last 10 played, and only Borussia Dortmund was able to score them a goal in the last 9 games, which is amazing.

Thanks to a great coach, a deep squad and huge ambition, Sevilla is being one of the best spanish teams at the moment. A very solid defence, a quality midfield to dominate the games, and a very dangerous attack with strikers in good form like En Nesyri, Munir or Suso. The confidence in the team is high thanks to their great form.

Ocampos is out due to an injury, but he has a good replacements in Papu Gomez.

They are a very trustable home team, where they always give their best and dominate the games. And most important - they know perfectly how to defend a positive result. The defenders couple Kounde - Diego Carlos with the defensive midfielder Fernando are working very well, having the best defence in La Liga after conceding just 16 goals in 23 games (same as Atletico Madrid).

On the other hand, Barcelona is far from their best level. They achieved some positive results lately in La Liga, but are in 3rd position and 5 points below Atletico (leader), having played one more game.

Their defence is terrible, they are making huge mistakes and gifts at the back, while in attack they continue having the bigg dependence of Leo Messi. Without him or with him at a worse level, Barcelona isn’t able to create any danger. Their midfielder can’t control the games either, but their main problem and weak point is undoubtedly the defence.

They have conceded 22 goals in 24 games, almost 1 per match. As visitors, they are struggling a lot against strong sides.

I see Sevilla totally able to achieve some point here. They showed in the last years that they already know how to stop Messi and Barcelona when both were at a better level. We must remember also that both teams played 2 weeks ago the Spanish Cup ½ finals (first leg) and Sevilla won easily 2:0. Last year, results were 1:1 in Camp Nou and 0:0 in Sanchez Pizjuan.

My only worry here is Leo Messi, but I see Sevilla strong enough to stop him with their great defence and trio Diego Carlos-Kounde-Fernando. This will be a tight game where for sure Sevilla will have chances and hopefully, thanks to their confidence and great form, will score some goal.

Draw is my result here, but I don't see Barcelona favorite in any case. They are at their worst level in years, while Sevilla is totally on fire. So I’m happy to take the double chance for the hosts.
