Arouca had a good start in my opinion, much better than the last season where they started really bad but now are living the worst moment of the season with 5 games without winning against some low teams, the only good team was Braga where they lost by 6-0. They are without confidence and need to start getting points to get more confidence and will face one of the best teams with more individual quality in the league. The coach Armando Evangelista is having some problems in the defense and in the goal as he doesn't know whats the main goalkeeper as both already did so many mistakes that cost points to the team. At home they usually have some problems as they concede a lot of space to the opponents and try to press really high in the pitch and it promotes a lot of individual duels in the defense and it gives advantage to the most talented players.

Probable line-up: De Arruabarrena; Tiago Esgaio - Opoku - Joao Basso - Mateus Quaresma; David Simao - Soro - Alan Ruiz; Bukia - Antony and Mujica.

Famalicao had one more terrible start of season as they did in the last season in 2021/2022 where they started really bad and the coach Ivo Vieira was sacked due to bad results and they brought Rui Pedro Silva who did a good rest of season. This one they kept Rui Pedro Silva and the team was playing terribly with many good talented players and he was sacked last season due to terrible games with only 1 goal scored in 7 games and decided to buy again Joao Pedro Sousa, the same coach that did history in Famalicao in 2019/2020 where they ended in the 6th position in the next year after getting promoted from the 2nd League. His debut this season in Famalicao was impressive with a clear victory by 4-0 over Boavista with a coach that is very well known for his teams being very strong defensively. Famalicao have many talented players, their best player is injured and did not make any game this season yet - Ivan Jaime. They have the winger from Panama - Puma Rodriguez that did amazing performances in Russia in the World Cup 2018 and now is in Portugal trying to relaunch his career. I expect here an open game with both teams scoring goals, but with Famalicao scoring more goals than Arouca.
