Gil Vicente had a tough start with the new coach Ivo Vieira. They have a lot of pressure because of their amazing last season with Ricardo Soares, they ended in the 5th position and due to that they got qualified to UEFA Conference league for the first time in their history, but lost the best player Samuel Lino to Atletico Madrid, one of the most influent players the creative midfielder Pedrinho, the best right back Zé Carlos that was loaned by Braga and the number 1 responsible for the amazing season they had - the coach Ricardo Soares left to Egypt and signed for 2 seasons with the biggest club in Africa - Al Ahly. They come from a terrible game where they lost by 3-1 against Sporting, but could have lost by 5-6 goals easily and the coach recognized that. He doesn’t know what system he should play, in the last game they started with a 3-4-3 and Ivo Vieira said it was an error so probably I think they will play tomorrow in a 4-3-3. They are playing bad and defensively talking they are conceding many goal chances to their opponents and will face one of the deadliest teams in counters and one of the best teams in individual quality. I cannot see Gil Vicente winning, as to win I think they will need to score 2-3 goals as for sure Estoril will score here.

Estoril are having a better start than in the last season where they started well. Comparing to the last season they changed coach aswell, Bruno Pinheiro left 1 week before the season starts due to some conflicts with the direction and they decided to buy Nelson Veríssimo who ended the last season in Benfica, yes the main team of Benfica and the coach that put Benfica into the quarter-finals of Champions League. The individual quality of Estoril this season is better than in the last season in my opinion as they bought Rodrigo Martins who did a superb season in Mafra, received Tiago Gouveia loaned from Benfica and is being one of the best players from the league apart from the Top-4. They were just needing some experience in the defense, especially in the center-backs and they bought Mexer a very good and fast centre-back. They bought the current best goalscorer from Botafogo - Ericson loaned by them, and he already scored in Portugal. I expect Estoril playing in counter for this game and creating a lot of problems to this permissive Gil Vicente’s defense.
