Czech started this Nations League really well with a 2:1 win at home vs Switzerland and than a 2:2 draw at home against Spain, a game they almost won if they hadn't suffered that late goal but they also were a bit lucky because they pratically scored in the two chances that they got and Spain missed some nice chances. After those two results they faced Portugal and Spain on the road and lost both games by 0:2, even Portugal in that game wasn't playing that well they were clear inferior than Portugal but now they have the chance to revenge that loss, especially because only the win matters for Czech here and even the win can be not enough if Spain wins their game but they must try to win, because that's the only result that matters for them in this game against Portugal. For this game Czech will be without Sevcik and Sadilek.

In the begin of the Nations League we pratically knew that it will be between Portugal and Spain for the 1st place and so far it looks like that, Portugal is in 2nd place and 1 point behind Spain. Portugal started their group stage with a nice 1:1 draw on the road against Spain and than a 4:0 win over Switzerland at home, a game that could have easily ended in a 7 or 8:0 win and than of course, they beat Czech at home by 2:0 before losing their last game against Switzerland by 0:1 on the road, everyone was expecting them to win and me too, especially after that big first game between both of those teams but Portugal was very unlucky in that game, they suffered the 1:0 in the 1st minute of the game and after that Portugal had tremendous chances to score multiple goals but missed all their chances, it was one of those days that the ball just wasn't going in but with that loss they lost the 1st place and now they can't afford to lose more points to depend on themselves in the last home game against Spain. For this game Portugal is without Pepe, Guerreiro, Joao Felix and Cancelo is also suspended for the game.

For Czech only the win matters here and hoping for Spain not to win, that means that Czech will need to play more attacking football, also they are at home so I don't expect them to be defensive here and for Portugal a draw is maybe enough to depend on themselves but they don't know the outcome of Spain and if Spain doesn't win Portugal can recover the 1st place and only will need a draw against Spain in the last game, also Portugal is not a team who plays for draw's they always play to win their games and for me they are the much superior team here, yes, Czech has nice players like Coufal, Soucek and Schick but Portugal is loaded with great talent and who usually bounce back after a bad result, I think Portugal will beat Czech here by 2:1 or 3:1.
