SJK vs KuPS

SJK host KuPS OmaSp Stadion in Seinajoki for this Finnish Veikkausliiga clash late Saturday evening Beijing time. This is the highest tier of my home country's football and is not of too high-quality by global standards. It is, however, a very lucrative league to bet on for me fans and me. The situation is pretty clear here: KuPS are the better team in all areas of the game and favorites to win. KuPS have allowed just 13 goals so far – the lowest number in Veikkausliiga. However, they have not been as solid in the past 5-6 weeks as they were earlier this season. KuPS currently occupy the 2nd place in the standings and this is also their place in my power rating that illustrates the teams’ pure class. However, as many of my fans already know, they are very often over-valued on the betting market and this match is no different! We once again won a bet against them last week when they managed to beat IFK Mariehamn only 1-0 and seemed to lack offensive creativity. HJK are the best team in this league. I have raised SJK’s power rating several times during the past 7 weeks and now rate them as the 4th best team – slightly better than Haka. However, in the standings they are only in the 7th place with 21 points to their account and once again under-valued by the bookies. Today they will probably field the new player – ultra-talented M. Yaghoubi - who recently joined the team from AC Oulu. At his best he can add a lot of creativity to the hosts’ offensive game! In their most recent match SJK comfortably defeated HIFK in Helsinki bringing my fans and me yet another winner. They allowed HIFK very little in expected goals and controlled the match for most of the 90 minutes. HIFK did have a good chance when the score was 0-1 but I believe SJK would have won even if HIFK had capitalized on the chance. Before this SJK lost a balanced match to Inter in Turku but were missing their key striker Jervis. Inter, of course are pretty good team and were clear favorites in this match on the betting market. Before the Inter game they took two comfortable wins over AC Oulu 3-2 and Lahti 3-1. Against Oulu the score could have been more clear in their favor as the expected goals numbers were 2.56-0.87.
