Last season, Liverpool would have deserved more as they were fighting for several trophies, and they are also strong title contenders in every competition.

At transfer markets Darwin Nunez upront from Benfica is an excellent find to replace Sadio Mane, his co-operation with Luis Diaz and Mo Salah will be entertaining to watch!

But Fulham?

They were magnificent in the Championship and cult hero Mitrovic scored 43 goals! Unfortunately, the promotion for the teams who are active and dominant is usually more complex than for the teams who accept their underdog role. I struggle to see Mitrovic hit 10 this season, and Fulham is a strong relegation candidate.

Fulham preseason results give us very little as they only faced Southern European teams with mixed results. At transfer markets there are some clear improvements:

Joao Palhinha (Sporting), Andreas Pereira (ManU), Kevin Mbabu (Wolfsburg), Manor Solomon (Shakhtar).

Palhinha will be their key man, a balancing midfielder who has been targeted also by bigger clubs but chose Fulham instead.

The coach Marco Silva is ambitious, and he might want to play aggressive and active football at least at the start of the season, but against Pool, City and co there is only one likely result when doing this, a clear loss.

A few doubts here and there, winger Harry Wilson being the main man unavailable.
