Gameday in Lisbon for the first round between Benfica & Arouca.

Benfica will be without Lucas Verissimo and their new transfer from Timao, Joao Victor.

On their side Arouca is without Galovic, Pedro Moreira & Velazquez. David Simao is doubtful.

What an amazing spot we have to start the season in Portugal !

Benfica last year was really not doing the expected result and their coach was really not good.

For this season they changed their coach and they are under Roger Schmidt. In pre season they showed very good things and few days ago in their first official game of the season they won easily 4-1 with an amazing goal by Enzo Fernandez the new signing and Goncalo Ramos who made a hat trick.

I rate Benfica as the stronger team in Portugal this season. They have also David Neres who showed too much good qualities since the pre season.

Benfica will start the season against Arouca who is one of the worst team in Portugal. They were close to be relegated last season and they didn’t make big additions for this season.

I expect 3-0 or 4-0 if Benfica plays at his level they showed lately.
