With the money from the Darwin Nuñez transfer they signed 6 good players to improve their level, like David Neres (Shaktar) or Enzo Fernandez (River Plate). Benfica is a classic team from the Champions League in the recent year with solid performances, so I can’t see them losing in the qualify stage against a poor side like Midjylland. Their strikers are at least one level quicker in mind and on feet and for sure can score more than 2 goals against the weak defense of visitors that is full of spaces.

On the other hand, Midtjylland has been decreasing their level in the last few years. Some time ago they were a top team in Denmark and strong in Europe, but not anymore. Defensively they are so poor, in the previous round they struggled a lot to beat AEK (did it in penalties).

They have a much weaker squad, with many difficulties in the defensive phase and especially in the construction, hitting a lot of balls forward which with Benfica's high pressure will be very difficult for Mitdjiland to come out and play and as a result of the large space between the lines.

I watched some games of Midtjylland (friendlies and CL qualifiers) and this team can’t go anywhere in a strong tournament like this one, especially against a strong team like Benfica. The Danish team doesn't have automatisms in their moves, their lines are in chaos and their defense very vulnerable.

Although Benfica is not so well prepared as a team because it is the start of the season (first official game for tem), the Portuguese team can smash Denmarks tomorrow in order to avoid problems for the second round.
