In my opinion Rangers have really good chances to avoid loss in today's match up.

Union are not allowed to play today's match at Joseph Marien stadium because their home ground not meet UEFA requirements. For sure this is big disadvantage for hosts.

Union don't have any experience at this stage. In previous season they made spectacular result in Belgium league as they finished on 2nd place as league newcomers, but for sure this season will be much harder. Felice Mazzu - first coach and father of club success, left the club and moved to Anderlecht. Casper Nielsen - one of the best player (according to the ratings) left the club (Club Brugge), same as best scorer and best assistant Deniz Undav (Brighton). That should have extremely bad impact on their performance this year, no doubt about that. Union made 4 points in first two league matches, but doesn't looked convincing at all.

Rangers coming for this game full of confidence as they made nice comeback from 0:1 on away against Livingston. In overall that was good performance: 83% ball possession with 21 shots. Rangers top players like team captain Tavernier, defender Barisic or winger Kent stayed in club and are available to play today. Two players which missed last league match joined the squad, coach Van Bronckchorst said: "Matondo trained with the team as did Rıdvan yesterday. Both can travel with us this afternoon." Matondo played on loan in Belgium league last season and scored a goal against Union.

Rangers huge experience, in previous season they made superb run in Europa League (they lost in big final). Team look excellent under coach Van Bronckchorst (for example: they were able to win against Borussia Dortmund on away in last edition of Europa League!) and they have all required tools to get qualification into group stage of Champions League. Van Bronckhorst said: "If you reach the Europa League final, you will be seen as the favourite to go into the Champions League group stages as well. It is a very strong competition already in this round when you see all the teams competing for the last places. The pressure is always there, that is why we are involved at a big club with Rangers. For me that is always the case. We have the opportunity to have a good run in August in Europe and qualify for the group stages. That is our aim and that starts against Union."
