Flamengo faces Juventude this Wednesday, at Mane Garrincha stadium, in Brazil's capital, and the trend is that coach Dorival will put on the field a team similar to the one that won Atletico MG, in the Copa do Brasil. The good news for Flamengo is that Gabigol is returning to the team, as is David Luiz, and reinforcements from Benfica and Everton are expected to debut, but we still don't know if he will be in the first team or play in the second half. After a very weak start to the season, things improved with the arrival of Dorival and Flamengo looks like a contender for the title again. Dorival mixed the team last game and it turned out to be a good change, Flamengo won 2-0 and played a good game. Flamengo has the third-best xG at home while Juventude has the fourth worst xGa away (2.01) which means they should roughly concede two goals when they go away.

Juventude has had a season to forget, they are in the last position and we will hardly see them next year in the strongest Brazilian championship. Juventude along with Avai has the worst defence in the league and they come at an awkward time to play Flamengo, who are in a big rush. There is no doubt that Juventude will defend for the whole 90 minutes and try to get a point somehow, but I think that right now Flamengo is much better and considering that Pedro and Gabigol will lead the attack, it will be difficult for Juventude's defence to not concede 2 or 3 goals. I expect another good game from the hosts, they have good momentum, the situation in the locker room is much better than before and I think they will manage to beat Juventude at least with a two-goal difference.
