In my opinion Estudiantes have really good chances to win in today's match up.

First match between both teams finished with draw 1:1. That was close game, but today Estudiantes at home should be able to expose all weak points in Fortaleza.

Estudiantes is extremely strong team at home in this competition - they won 10 of last 11 home matches in Copa Libertadores. It's superb streak and they have all required tools to continue. Fortaleza in current edition played once on away in Argentina, against River Plate, and lost 0:2. In past (2020) they also lost in qualies to Sudmericana against Independiente. For sure they not coming here full of confidence, Fortaleza lost last 3 consecutive away matches in Brazilian Serie A and in each game they conceded more than one goal.

I see huge advantage for Estudiantes in terms of fitness and schedule. For hosts it's 8th match since start of June, for guests it's already 11th match - it's huge difference. Estudiantes coming for this game with almost best possible line up - only defender Munoz is unavailable. According to ratings, Jorge Rodriguez is Estudiantes best player in current season, but in last league match coach Zielinsky used him only for 30 minutes, so he should be fresh and ready to play on the top level today. Fortaleza coming here without midfielder Hercules, defenders Ceballos, Landazuri & Tinga and offensive players Robson and Diepietri. That will be problematic because they don't have long bench with big quality.

Mental advantage is also on Estudiantes side - they don't have to panic about league situation, on the other hand Fortaleza after 15 league matches is in relegation zone, already 7 points behind safe place. Of course, it's nice go qualify into next stage of Copa Libertadores, but relegation it's always catastrophe.

All in all, Estudiantes looks like excellent bet.
