Elche (19th) is the worst team of the league for me. They have the worst attack of the league (16 goals in 19 games) and the worst squad of La Liga. Lack of quality is a fact in this team, who either is competitive with solid defense. Their plan each game is to be very defensive and try to score luckily in some counter attack or set piece, but they have very few chances per game and with their low quality in attack, aren’t able to score too many goals.

But also they aren’t defending well, if they have conceded only 26 goals so far is thanks to the great saves of Edgar Badia, their goalkeeper and one of the spanish goalkeepers right now. But he can’t do miracles every weekend. Their plan is doomed to failure and dont have alternatives.

For this match, they will miss three key players due to suspensions: Verdu, Tete Morente and Barragan. They aren’t either a solid home side, as only won 1 of the 10 fixtures played in their stadium.

On the other hand, Villarreal (5th) is having a fantastic season so far. In the last 30 official games, only lost against Sevilla (2:0). Is a very competitive side, with a lot of quality and especially a dangerous attack.

In the last weeks they have been very unlucky with injuries, as they missed several key players and the coach was forced to use some players from B team (Fer Niño, Yeremi Pino) who are playing very well. Anyway, they have been competitive as always and achieved good results.
