In my opinion Scotland have really good chances to make at least one point in today's match up.

Currently Scotland have very solid streak in away match against Ireland as they didn't lost against them on away in last 4 consecutive matches. Last time they lost against them on the road in 1963. In overall Ireland have awful record against teams from United Kingdom - they failed to win in 12 of last 13 such matches!

It's big difference between both in terms of results achieved in UEFA Nations League. Scotland won 7 of 11 matches in this competition. On the other hand Ireland failed to win in their all 12 matches in Nations League (7 losses in the process and only 2 goals scored).

Scotland don't have any new absences so their line up should look exactly the same like in last match 3 days ago when they recorded comfortable 2:0 win at home against Armenia. Ireland have serious problems with defensive formation - their two key defenders Egan from Sheffield and Coleman from Everton (team captain) are unavailable today. It's huge blow for the team and should have very bad impact on their performance at the back.

Ireland lost last two matches in a row (against Armenia and Ukraine) and failed to score twice. Morale in team must be on very low level. In addition to that, they failed to win in last 10 competitive home matches. Scotland after last win for sure coming here full of confidence and wants to go with momentum in prestigious game. They won last 3 away matches in a row in all competitions.

Scotland at the moment is better team, in better shape. I don't see them as underdog in this game.
