A strong defense makes it so hard to score against each opponent and you can imagine now poor Schalke scoring to them? I cannot.

Therefore I cannot see this mediocre Schalke team passing this cup round although the club has just signed some players this winter transfer period mostly former fan heroes like striker Klaas Jan Huntelaar from Ajax and left defender Sead Kolasinac from Arsenal. Furthermore Shkodran Mustafi from Arsenal, also joined the club in order to help in succeeding in this almost Mission impossible. Anyway, key defender Ozan Kabak has just left for Liverpool and this should additionally weaken the defensive part of the team. In the end, I could not see anything else but a home win by Green Wolves, who have also won the last 2 matches and they both were at Schalke.

Predicting 2:0 tonight for Wolfsburg, I don't think Schalke's destiny can be changed even with these old players arriving. 3/5 stakes.
