In my opinion Everton have really good chances to make at least one point in today's match up.

For me is very hard to see Leeds as a favorite of this match. It's not long trip for guests, it's just about 1.5h drive by car from Liverpool to Leeds. Game on empty stadium, so it's more like neutral ground.

Everton have some good news before today's game - important defensive midfielder Delph is available. First goalkeeper Pickford got injured in last match, but in current situation is not big problem - he played on very poor level and this is great chance for Olsen. Leeds have serious squad problems before today's match - key offensive midfielder Rodrigo (18 matches) is unavailable. Key right winger Raphina (3 goals and 4 assists in 15 matches) is in doubt, same as team best striker Bamford (11 goals and 4 assists in 20 matches).

With these problems in offensive formation Leeds should have big problems with breaking Everton defense. Everton defense have some solidity - they conceded 8 goals in last 10 Premier League matches so it's not poor result. In 2021 Leeds failed to score in 3 of 5 matches so far..

Everton likes to play from counter - in current season they lost 3 of 4 matches when they had possession above 60%.. On the other hand Leeds likes to have high possession and I belive this is perfect match up for Everton. Leeds have extremely poor defense - only WBA conceded more goals than Leeds so far. Everton should have their chances, especially on corners/free kicks - Leeds have big problems with defending set pieces, they conceded already 7 goals from corners. On the other hand Everton is one of the best team in league from set pieces, they have many tall players in squad. Leeds conceded at least one goal in all 5 matches in 2021 and Everton should be able to score as well.

Everton is strong on away because that suits more their tactics. They recorded already 6 wins in 9 away matches and I don't see them as a underdog today.
